ISSA/INTERCLEAN supports African water project

All Amsterdam Innovation Award registration fees (€ 150.00 per entry excl. VAT) will be donated to the African Medical & Research Foundation (AMREF) Flying Doctors. Amsterdam RAI sponsors the project in Kajiado, Kenia to create accessible water supplies and sanitary facilities. Residents in Kajiado take an active part in the project by organising educational events to raise awareness for clean water, health and hygiene for everyone – young and old.

Founded in 1957 in Kenya as Flying Doctors, AMREF does much more than provide health care to remote parts of Africa. As the biggest African health organisation, it is in the front line of improving lives by undertaking cooperative ventures with local people to create sustainable improvement.
