Keynote speaker Professor Didier Pittet, Director of the Infection Control Programme and World Health Organization (WHO) Collaborating Centre on Patient Safety at the University of Geneva , Switzerland will lead the session which will be focused on the impact that cleaning can have on the risk and spread of infection. In particular, the keynote will address global hand hygiene initiatives, deal with the WHO Global Patient Safety Challenge “Clean Care is Safe Care” and the WHO’s engagement with the business community.
The Seminar will include a roundtable discussion and address issues such as, "Life after Chlorine", "the impact of hygiene in the prevention of disease" and "the importance of hand and surface hygiene".
